With over three decades of Inner West real estate experience to his name, David Giezekamp is both a Licensed Real Estate Agent and one of the area’s most successful Auctioneers. Along with his brother Cary, he is Co-Director and fourth-generation owner of a proud family business established by his great grandfather in 1899.

A long-term Inner West resident and enthusiast, David has an intimate understanding of local buyer requirements, knowledgeable in council and development matters, and recommending the right method of sale to gain the best possible result.

David provides hands-on expertise across residential and commercial properties, new developments, and sites prime for redeveloping. Some notable sales include development sites 13-15 Collins Street Annandale, 100-104 Johnston Street Annandale, 233 Johnston Street Annandale, 2-4 Hill Street Leichhardt, and 36 Junction Road Summer Hill. Another remarkable sale that David completed was 308-314 Stanmore Road, Petersham, the old fire station – contesting commercial and local agents, he came highly recommended to the vendors and sold the property in excess of $7 million.

Having sold and auctioned thousands of properties over his 30 years, he has gained Australia and overseas television, radio and newspaper coverage for his achievements. David’s valuable insider knowledge comes from his strong local ties and passionate community work. He was the Rotarian Past President for Leichhardt for many years, a Zone Director of Petersham District Salvation Army for 10 years, and regularly volunteers as Auctioneer for local schools, neighbourhood groups and charities.
