She also has extensive experience in superannuation solutions. A resident of Boroondara since 1999, Karen has an extensive knowledge of the local area. She has been heavily involved in the Scotch College Music Auxiliary including being Vice-President to the committee in 2011. She was the coordinator of fundraising for the music department and has a strong affiliation with the Scotch College network.
