About Katie Allan - Real Estate Agent

My parents were property developers, and I’ve worked in the real estate industry, in one form or another, almost all my life. You could say that property is in my blood. 

Over the years, I’ve worked with some of Australia’s biggest real estate groups. I’ve got extensive experience in property management, real estate sales, and most recently, corporate relocations. 

As a Corporate Relocation Consultant, I helped business executives and their families move to Brisbane from interstate or overseas. My role was to find them the perfect suburb, home, school and help them set up in their new life. I spent my days researching Brisbane real estate and infrastructure, providing personalised tours of local suburbs and managing the sale, purchase and leasing of property on their behalf. As a result, I know the Brisbane property market inside out!

I loved helping clients find and settle into their new home. Still I became increasingly frustrated by my own experiences with real estate agencies and their property managers. There was little care about basic property maintenance, and small issues ultimately turn into significant, costly problems for landlords. Property managers would often take weeks to transition clients into a property – frustrating my clients and costing the landlord thousands of dollars in lost rent! I knew I could do it better, and that was my motivation to establish Habitat Property Agents.
