A member of one of the pioneering families of the area, Tim Lynch's family connections with Moorabbin date to the beginning of last century, while his position as one of the area's favourite agents extends from his first job in real estate in the early 1970s.

But it's Tim's contributions to the life of the area today that really make him part of the community. A past-President and the current Membership Chair for Bentleigh Moorabbin Central Rotary Club, Tim has been instrumental in programs that have benefited numerous educational, sporting and community organisations...and provided locals with many hours of retail enjoyment (and fund-raising benefit) through involvement with the Sunday morning Bentleigh market.

This commitment to community continues through to the Ray White business - which actively supports groups as diverse as East Brighton Vampires and Hampton Rovers Football Clubs, St Catherines Primary School, Bentleigh Junior Football Club, Moorabbin synagogue and the Begonia Society. It is this involvement that has seen Tim become one of the area's most trusted professionals. "Over 40 years in local real estate is just the start," he says. "In the old days, my family was involved in a hospitality business in the area. We built our family here, and now my sons work in property here." 

For Tim, it's more than just knowing the area, it's about being known. "Other agents talk about local knowledge, for me it's about who I know and how I can help them. There's a level of accountability that comes with such a long career.' Says Tim. "Knowledge, service and results, are at the heart of the reputation I have developed and the trust I have earned from vendors and buyers alike."

Married to Angela for almost as long as he's been in real estate, Tim's ever-growing family includes 5 children and 5 grandchildren - at last count. Tim was educated at Xavier College and his sons also attended the school, now many of his boys are involved in the real estate industry. His youngest son Kieran was a licensed agent at 22 and is a Director of Ray White Moorabbin. It's fair to say that real estate runs through the family's blood, but it's their commitment to the area that proves that blood is thicker than water.
