It’s no small achievement that in 34 years of practising architecture, Rob Brown hasn’t repeated himself.
Unlike many name architects, in a portfolio of almost 100 completed and mainly residential projects, no moves have become identifiable as characterising his work.
“We only repeat quality and attention to detail,” says the principal of Casey Brown Architecture.
Why make cliche houses when the studio’s approach to commissions that are often realised on the most astounding and difficult sites is, “that they are pieces of art, like a painting. If you want an original, we give you something that is completely and radically different. We don’t do prints.”
