They hold memories of summers past, salty breezes, sandy feet and a simpler way of life. Benalbo is one of those rare places.Meaning \"good place to camp\", Benalbo has been held by the same family since it was built in 1924. Before the cottage existed, the family would camp on this special piece of land, enjoying the beach and the beautiful Gerroa inlet and river. In those early days, the area was largely farmland with very few properties, and the original owner of the farm subdivided this remarkable parcel, creating the setting for Benalbo to be built.The cottage has remained in the same family ever since. A remarkable connection to the past and a testament to the enduring appeal of this very special location. A rear bathroom was added around 1970, marking one chapter in the gradual evolution of this much-loved seaside retreat.Now, this charming cottage is ready for its next custodian.Set on a generous 805m² block, the property offers a wonderful opportunity to embrace its heritage, enjoy its relaxed coastal character and imagine the next chapter of its story.And the location? Simply hard to beat.Just five steps from the Gerroa inlet and footbridge, the water is practically at your doorstep. Beach days become wonderfully effortless, whether you're carrying a surfboard, a towel or simply wandering down to enjoy the view.Benalbo is more than a cottage. It's a connection to old Gerroa. A place where family memories began, the river and beach were part of everyday life, and the simple pleasures of the coast never go out of style.A rare opportunity to become the next caretaker of a little piece of Gerroa's history.Auction onsite 11am Sunday 6th December.Private inspections via appointment only.Contact Jane Zwar 0401 174 856","YearBuilt":null,"LandArea":null,"Price":{"Currency":"AUD","Amount":null,"Display":"Auction"},"Bedrooms":"2","Bathrooms":"1","Parking":null,"Features":[{"Name":"Bedrooms","Value":"2"},{"Name":"Bathrooms","Value":"1"},{"Name":"Area","Value":"805 m²"}],"Inspections":[],"Auctions":[{"Title":"Sun 6 Dec at 11:00 am","Address":"7 Burke Parade, Gerroa, NSW 2534","Date":"2026-12-06T11:00:00","Outcome":null,"Upcoming":true}],"TimeZone":"AUS Eastern Standard Time","Latitude":-34.77048252,"Longitude":150.81273219,"Agent":{"Name":"Jane Zwar","CanonicalUrl":"https://realsearch.com.au/agent/jane-zwar"},"Agency":{"Name":"Belle Property - Berry","CanonicalUrl":"https://realsearch.com.au/agency/belle-property-berry"},"CreatedAt":"2026-10-16T07:42:31.7305538","UpdatedAt":"2026-10-16T07:44:15.1573721"}
