Originally settled by Samuel Page in 1855, "Stonehenge" is situated in the Eastern Midlands 30 km east of Oatlands. It was purchased by the McShane family in 1947 and has been held by the family for 3/4 of a century. "Stonehenge" combines a long rich history with an agricultural diversity and scale to create a unique and truly significant Tasmanian holding.

The centerpiece to this diverse grazing and irrigation property is the 7 bedroom slate roofed Henry Hunter designed sandstone home built in 1879. This grand piece of architecture has been modernised to be a functional home without losing any of its presence. Grand rooms, high ceilings, and ornate fittings feature throughout.

"Stonehenge" was carrying 14,000 DSE when the property was divided for succession planning and irrigation was then developed. The property has a water right of 1,360 megs and owns a half share in a 1,500 meg storage dam. Five 40 hectare pivot circles have been developed, 250mm pipe, with one machine servicing 2 circles each year. There is a further six circles planned. There is potential for a 5,000 megalitre dam site in the southeast of the property.

"Stonehenge" has 2 kilometres frontage to Boomer Creek, 5 kilometres of frontage and 8 kilometres internal to the Little Swanport River, and 2 kilometres frontage to Nutting Garden Rivulet with a long term average rainfall of 600mm.
Approximately 1800 hectares of "Stonehenge" is arable/semi arable country with the balance being open native grasslands grazing, bush runs, and some commercial forest.

Major improvements on the property outside the main homestead include separate two storey sandstone stables, 3 bedroom weatherboard home with open plan living/kitchen area, 5 stand shearing shed capable of shedding 1500 sheep with inside sheep yards, cattle yards, chemical shed, 6 bedroom shearers quarters, slaughterhouse, fertiliser/grain bunker, dog pens, shedding shed, silo, and a commercial weathered dolerite level 1 quarry. A short distance from the house is an area setup for horses with a dressage yard, lunging yard, hay shed, horse shelter sheds, and a trail area with some obstacles.
