"The house is located in the old suburb of Redbank at the top of the main street. It has been our family home for the last 40 years. We are now at the point where we need to downsize to something more ‘old people’ friendly!
This part of Redbank has a great community with many character and heritage homes. The Heritage listed Primary school is practically next door so children can walk to school, or the bus stop is across the road to access local High Schools. You can leave the car at home and take a short 5 minute walk down to the train station. There are 2 excellent Heritage listed pubs in the street, a local neighbourhood complex that includes a medical centre, newsagent and café plus fuel station. There are also 2 childcare centres in the street.

In addition to the above, it takes only a couple of minutes to easily access the Ipswich Motorway, the Redbank Plaza shopping centre is a two minute drive and Costco is a five minute drive.

The House: Originally built in the 1960’s
Situated at the top of the hill, there are excellent views out to Mount Glorious from the private front verandah.
The house is high set with 3 Bedrooms (all with large built in robes), bathroom, large lounge, kitchen and dining areas all accessed by the internal staircase. Downstairs is a large entertainment room complete with built in bar, the laundry, toilet and garage (with remote roller door). All of the downstairs windows and doors have Crimsafe style screens and security doors.

Internally, there are four air-conditioned rooms and every room has ceiling fans and downlights. The large modern kitchen has an induction cooktop, a self-cleaning pyrolytic oven, appliance cupboard and pantry with slide-out shelving.

There is a 5kw Solar Power System installed and there are two 5,000litre rainwater tanks. The gas hot water system has been especially configured so that you top up the gas bottles yourselves (the combined addition of solar power, water tanks and self-serve gas system means considerable annual savings on these bills). Externally the house has lockable gates and a massive shaded area where we kept our caravan.

At the rear of the house is a very private beautifully landscaped tropical garden with sandstone rock walls complete with a unique pond and waterfall. There is also a large covered Balinese inspired entertainment deck and a large shed/garage – all with power connected."
