After finishing school in Tamworth, Alan signed with the Canberra Raiders in 1999. Alan went on to play 13 seasons in the NRL, with five years as team captain. His leadership on and off the field earned him accolades such as Lock of the Year and Captain of the Year at the 2008 Dally M Awards.
During his rugby league career, Alan developed a unique skill set that translated into his strong work ethic, determination, and ability to build meaningful relationships. These attributes now serve him well in his new career as a real estate agent specialising in rural properties.
