About Anne Jurgs - Real Estate Agent
Toowoomba born and bred; Anne has lived in, worked in and studied in Toowoomba all her life. Her working life began while in high school, at McDonalds Toowoomba South and transitioned to Bookkeeping whist completing a Bachelor of Commerce at USQ (as it was called then). After Uni, she began work as a public accountant, during which time she again studied to obtain full membership in CPA Australia; membership to which she still holds. These roles all taught her valuable lessons which she carries with her today:
- the value of hard work
- personal integrity
- ethical behaviour
- the importance of teamwork
- how a person’s financial position can have a major impact on their mental and emotional wellbeing
- the importance of professional advice for decision makers.
She’s always had a strong passion for helping people; carrying this in all aspects of her life, she volunteers where able. She started volunteering as a child; having served in a variety of roles at both primary and high school, and at her local scout group. Her current volunteer roles include: the P&F at Toowoomba Anglican School, where her son attends; and also playing drums at St Barts once a month. When she’s not working, you’ll find her playing soccer, squash, working in her garden or reading.
With a family background in construction and property development, Anne and her husband Paul have so far built or renovated four homes. In 2021, Anne and her brother built their first Spec Home, and have since completed several other projects, with more to come. This passion for real estate, in particular the idea of “home” made her decide to change direction from the world of finance into that of Real Estate Sales. Having a father also working in Real Estate, in addition to her own personal journey, she has acquired a variety of key skills, and key contacts, that she can now use to help you with your property needs.
