About Ben Cohen - Real Estate Agent
Local knowledge is a vital ingredient in the real estate industry. Ben calls the Shellharbour region home having spent virtually all his life living in the area. He attended school locally and completed his higher school certificate at Warilla high in 2000. Ben’s passion for the real estate industry started at a very young age and he only ever had one career path in mind.
He completed his Real estate licence at Tafe the following year before starting his real estate journey in 2002. Extremely ambitious, that journey quickly progressed and saw him partner in the Shellharbour Village office when it opened in 2006. Ben has been pivotal in growing the business exponentially over the years to what it is today. The leading real estate agency in the Illawarra and one of Ray White's Blue chip offices.
After selling property for nearly 20 years, Ben now takes most pride and satisfaction seeing the growth of his sales team and the success of his agents. Being able to play a role in shaping and developing their careers. Ensuring they have the same morals, ethics and values that have contributed to his success and longevity. Ben is also an accredited auctioneer and has called several property auctions with great success since gaining that qualification in 2014.
Ben and his family reside in Barrack Point. A town you'll often hear him claiming to be the best Suburb in the Illawarra. When given the opportunity to relax, Ben enjoys watching and playing many sports. He still plays soccer, squash, touch footy, the odd game of cricket and goes to the gym most days but is well aware he's past his best and gets most enjoyment out of watching his kids play their numerous sports. He is heavily involved in the community as a volunteer lifeguard at Warilla Barrack Point surf club where his kids do nippers and is also President of Shellharbour Sharks Junior Rugby League club. A role he is extremely passionate about.
