Retirement wasn’t in Brian’s nature, so he co-founded Bunting Whiteman Freight with his brother-in-law, growing it into a thriving business before passing it on to family.
In 2012, Brian, Jen, and their three daughters embarked on an unforgettable journey around Australia, traveling in a motorhome and creating lifelong memories. During this time, a real estate agent persistently encouraged Brian to join the industry—a suggestion that stayed with him. By late 2013, Brian had transitioned into real estate, where his natural sales ability saw him quickly shatter street and suburb records. His talent caught the attention of John McGrath, who dubbed him a "freak of real estate" and convinced him to open a McGrath office in Long Jetty, NSW. The office became one of the highest-earning in the network, and Brian was consistently ranked among McGrath’s Top 10 agents nationwide.
In 2017, Brian and Jen took the next step, purchasing their own office at 668 The Entrance Rd, Wamberal, and launching The Agency on the Central Coast. Under their leadership, the business dominated the market, earning Brian the title of the Number 1 Selling Agent for three consecutive years and making him The Agency’s top-performing agent.
In March 2022, Brian and Jen embraced their vision of a truly local, community-focused real estate business by founding Whiteman Property.
