We still remember the first time we met you.

You weren't the biggest house we'd ever seen, nor the newest. But from the moment we stepped through your door and saw the little iron heart embedded in your floor, we knew you were something special.

You had a soul.

Your weatherboard timber, your timeless charm and the stories hidden within your walls made it impossible not to fall in love. Knowing your rich history—as one of Currumbin's original cottages, believed to have once been the station master's quarters and perhaps even the local post office and general store—only made us love you more.

Over the years, you've become so much more than a house.

You've been the heart of our family. You've watched our children grow, hosted birthdays and Christmas, and been the place we always looked forward to coming home to. As our family expanded, so did you. We thoughtfully extended you to suit our growing needs, carefully preserving the character that captured our hearts from day one.

And your location? We could never tire of it. Morning walks to Currumbin Creek, surfs at the Alley, coffee & pastries from our favourite cafés (Tarte Beach House!), sunset dinners at the Currumbin RSL, drinks at Balter Brewery, weekends at the Farmer's Markets—this laid-back coastal lifestyle has been every bit as special as the home itself. All this, as well as being in the catchment for sought-after schools like Palm Beach Currumbin High School!

Which makes saying goodbye incredibly difficult.

The truth is, we've held onto you for as long as we could. But families evolve, children grow, and once again our needs have changed.
