Born and raised in Stirling, James Lindsay returned to the Adelaide Hills with a history of corporate negotiation and sales success dating back more than 20 years.

Before joining TOOP+TOOP, James was the Commercial General Manager at Port Adelaide Football Club, a tenure that delivered the greatest commercial results in the club’s 150-year history.

An unyielding drive to deliver his clients’ objectives and an ability to unlock value with creative solutions has allowed James to successfully negotiate complex contracts with multiple Forbes 500 organisations.

He is excited to put these skills to work for his neighbours in the Adelaide Hills as a Sales Partner with TOOP+TOOP.

James is a passionate advocate of the Adelaide Hills and everything it has to offer. He lives on a lifestyle property in Verdun with his wife Bronwyn and three children Tom, Eddie and Bonnie (and a handful of chickens and cows).

James’s father David Lindsay was the local veterinarian for more than 20 years and his practice still operates on the main street of Stirling.

“When we returned to SA in 2008, we immediately purchased in the Hills, knowing it’s the best kept property secret in Australia with the ability to live on acreage less than 15 minutes to the CBD. Where else can you achieve that?” James said.

James’s intimate knowledge of the Hills, combined with an extensive network of expert property service providers, allows him to work with clients to maximise the preparation of their property prior to sale.

After gaining a Bachelor of Business Management, James pursued his career overseas and interstate, working for a range of global brands, including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff and Heineken. On his return to SA, he worked for iconic local brands West End, Neutrog and Detmold.

It is this wide range of life experiences, combined with a genuine interest in others, that means James is able to build relationships and trust with people from all backgrounds.

Years in marketing roles focused on understanding buyer behaviour allows James to work with vendors to design campaigns across digital and traditional media, maximise buyer interest and, ultimately, sales results.

James’s personal property investments have given him a precise understanding of the real estate customer experience and the importance of making the sale of client’s greatest asset as seamless as possible.

James’s approachability and down-to-earth nature come from his Hills upbringing and have never left him. It is this grounded approach, combined with his integrity, passion for property and the Adelaide Hills, and his corporate negotiation and sales experience, that delivers for James’s clients
