As a director and licensed real estate agent at Hometown Property Partners, I list and sell homes in Riverstone and Schofields. My clients value me as a true local – having grown up and lived in Riverstone all my life, I know every street and have sold many homes two or three times over. What I love most is northwest Sydney's retained character and charm, especially the history that remains in the older homes. At Hometown Property Partners, our clients range from downsizers selling established homes to younger families buying their first property right through to returning homeowners needing to upgrade. My sales career started in retail, working at a liquor store in Riverstone, where I made many contacts and met my future clients. My business partner Dave Martignago and I went to school together, and when he set up this real estate agency in 2004, he asked me to join him. We quickly built up a loyal client base, and almost twenty years later, we haven't looked back – we still enjoy working together and continue to be the number-one agency in Riverstone. Often my home seller clients have been in the area for a long time. Some are looking to upsize, and others choose to move further out of Sydney as northwest Sydney becomes more densely populated. Some are looking to release equity in their homes, and homeowners have benefited from the property values growth in recent years. My job is to make sales happen.   My broad range of experience with Riverstone housing, both as an owner and a real estate agent, means I can advise buyers and sellers on their options for enhancing an established home versus buying new. Unlike many other agents, I enjoy the challenge of selling older, established properties. They may require more work, but they offer excellent value to anyone with a vision for home or land improvements. My selling approach is calm and communicative, and my broad local connections enable me to match sellers to buyers off market. Timing is crucial to me, and I prefer to take my time putting homes on the market if there are competing events or school holidays that will negatively impact my home seller. Careful planning of a home sales campaign gives you the best results, even in challenging economic conditions. I talk this through with my clients so they can see the complete picture of what lies ahead.  A critical factor in a successful property sale is knowing who the buyers are for a particular home and how to show them the property's true value. During a campaign, I ensure I am always available to sellers and buyers, even at short notice. Staying in close contact with my clients ensures they know what's happening at all times, and as we move through the home selling process, I share buyer feedback and offer sound and well-practised selling tactics. My passion for real estate, alongside my strong negotiation skills and excellent local knowledge, sets me apart. There isn't a question you could throw at me about Riverstone that I couldn't answer. I'm an excellent resource for buyers, particularly ones new to the area, as I can give them an informed overview of what they are buying, the local lifestyle, and amenities such as schools and medical facilities. Real estate is incredibly rewarding if you work hard.
