Originally from Ireland, Jen moved down to Tasmania in 2021 to escape the QLD heat – drawn to the beautiful countryside that is so like home, and the absolute joy of having four seasons – even if sometimes they all happen in the one day!
With a background in tertiary education, marketing and consumer psychology, and having had rental properties for years while living in QLD, Jen decided that after a few months renovating her own little piece of Tassie paradise, she would join the Roberts team. Having always had a strong interest in real estate, she quickly gained the skills and knowledge required to be successful in this field.
Beginning as a Portfolio Assistant, Jen’s solid work ethic, initiative, collaborative working mindset and her can-do attitude was recognised with a promotion to Portfolio Manager shortly thereafter.
Jen is highly efficient and organised. Having been both tenant and landlord, she treats her owners and tenants with warmth, compassion and occasional irreverent humour.
After some time successfully running her own portfolio, Jen was promoted into a Corporate Support Role, where she would excel in assisting staff state-wide in a broader based role within the Roberts team.
Briefly seconded back to Property Management to manage the North Midlands portfolio, Jen was reluctant to leave it behind when the secondment ended, and is now fulfilling a permanent role as Portfolio Manager for the North Midlands area.
When not working she is still finding any number of things to renovate on her property; traveling both around Tassie and back to QLD and Ireland as often as possible; spending time with family and her precious pets – she will probably get to know all your pets by name!
