Jim joined the real estate industry in 1992 and after just 12 months he was nominated as ‘Best New Talent’. A coastal resident since the beginning of his life, Jim’s extensive knowledge of Perth’s southern suburbs certainly shows. He was born and raised in Fremantle and to this day, is still a proud resident of the community, “I always say to people, I live, love and work in Spearwood,” he says. Jim has maintained a strong relationship with the local sports clubs and is a proud sponsor of the Women's Football Club. He is also an active member of the Basketball Association and has been since 1986. His love for basketball has seen him both play and referee the sport. Jim is well known for being a team player and understands the importance of working as a well-structured team, both on and off the court.

When asked to explain his success, Jim says that the answer is simple and it lies in one word, “transparency.”

“I pride myself on being honest. Clients often get told what they want to hear, not necessarily what they need to hear.”

“I’ve found it’s always better to be transparent and to just say it how it is. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell people the hard truth, but you’ve got to do it,” Jim says.

With his calm, focused demeanor and sensitive nature, his goal is not only to achieve a good result for the sellers, but he is also dedicated to exceeding their expectations too. Jim always puts people first and never ceases to do his best.
