Joanne Skirrow is a UK native who has been in Australia for 15 years, which means she's new enough to still have her delightful Yorkshire accent but is Australian enough to enjoy Vegemite, and know that you don't stand under a gum tree when the black cockatoos are in it!

Joanne spent 20 years in the police force, both as a bobby in the UK and as an officer here in WA. She took every opportunity the WA Police Force offered her, and took on a range of roles that included everything from being an emergency first responder to training rural cops how to use and maintain their weapons. A born adventurer, Jo has lived all over our amazing state, which means she has a deep understanding of how disruptive it can be to move house, and works hard to make this as uncomplicated as possible for her real estate clients.

All those years in the police force gave Joanne so many other qualities that serve her in her real estate career. Her natural authority and confidence puts people at ease, and she can talk to anyone. As you can imagine, working as an emergency first responder gave Joanne incredible experience with being calm under pressure, and enables her to diffuse pressured situations with ease. She is dedicated, hardworking and a high level problem solver. And as Joanne herself says "after many years of being with people at the worst moments in their lives, I now get such joy from helping people with some of the best moments of their lives - buying their new home"
