atie Mactier joins NJRE fresh from a stint on the “Sunny Coast” in Queensland working for a Noosa based real estate company, but real estate wasn’t Katie’s first career.

Born and raised in Brighton, Katie was a late bloomer, taking up cycling at the age of 24. Whilst an early career in advertising offered stability and a regular income, Katie chose another journey.

An extremely competitive runner at school, it was a fun triathlon with work colleagues that introduced the bike to Katie and from then on, she was hooked. Beginning with the Caulfield Carnegie Cycling Club, it was clear very early she had what it took to win races and Australian Cycling offered her an AIS scholarship in 2001. In 2001 she won her first National Road Race title and she decided to try her luck on the track. This is where Katie’s would realize her potential and became a World Champion, Commonwealth Games Gold and an Olympic Silver medalist. Katie is now a Cycling Australia Hall of Fame member

The attributes that enabled Katie to realize her dreams as an international athlete are what she now channels in her approach as a Property Manager. Katie’s sunny disposition, combined with her hard work ethic, attention to detail, not to mention her driven approach to deliver top level customer service are all part of a winning formula, that help foster excellent work relationships with both her owners and renters.
