Welcome to Mount Mary or Krichauff, as it was originally named. Just 22 kilometers up the old rail track from Morgan is the historic railway stop of Mount Mary.

Mt Mary was the first stop out of Morgan and it was here that the boom-times began in 1878 when the railway opened and six trains a day operated between here and Adelaide, supporting lots of camps and settlements which appeared along the track, carved out of the saltbush. The last train pulled out in 1969

LOT 1 - 181.9 ha - 450 acres

Only 16 kms from the River Murray, Lot 1 has directly from the bitumen. This makes it ideal for access with caravans or boats. With a variety of terrains ranging from Mallee Forest, Acacia trees, native Oaks through to open bluebush and dense scrub. The block is in pristine condition, having not been grazed for several years. There is a Large dam near the southern boundary (which normally holds water). This brings in all the natives and even sometimes goats, for a drink. Full of birdlife, this block offers fantastic rural getaway or retreat, perfect for the family who want to enjoy bush and easy access to the river only 15 minutes away.

Lot 2 – 175.9ha - 435 acres

Turning off the Highway at Mt Mary drive past the township, veering left along Duffs Gully Roads. After 1km you will veer left again, onto Kleinig Road. 3km down - left onto Twill Road. From this last turn you are 1.7 kms from the entrance of Lot 2. – there is a gate halfway along this last stretch that you will need to go through.

Please close the gate over the road as there is stock grazing in the area.
This block is also a heavily wooded, with bluebush and native trees galore. There is a large area of fantastic dense woodland along the western side and being slightly undulating there are some fantastic views to be had. This block is full of wildlife and birdlife (look up for the Wedgetail eagles) and offers an amazing nature retreat. Moving through the block, being surrounded by so many trees is really quite special. This is a very secluded, private, peaceful block, with dozens of spots to set up a shed, build a weekend campsite or disappear into your hideaway in the trees and bush on your own private escape.
