Head-hunted into real-estate at an early age, Mark's desire to lead the way in his chosen profession was always clear...he has been in the business since 1994; almost all spent as one of Victoria's top real estate agents.

‘The real estate industry has changed enormously since I first started out as an agent ,” says Mark. “Perhaps the biggest change is the accountability and flexibility clients have come to expect and demand. The client’s perspective is always front and centre in everything we do.”

Selling via auction continues to play a central role in today’s premium markets…and few are as premium, or as auction-focused, as Bayside. As an accomplished auctioneer, Mark naturally instils pre-auction confidence; putting even the most nervous vendor at ease. Although the same can’t be said for potential purchasers, Mark’s skilful handling of bids guarantees buyers rarely relax!

This same calm confidence and energetic assertiveness extends to Mark’s place at the negotiating table. Here, Mark's ability to read the room, lead the negotiation, and extend purchasers to their upper limits ensures his vendors always achieve the best possible outcome.

As an industry expert, Mark has spoken Australia-wide on his success as a business owner and salesperson. But it’s not just about sharing his own knowledge, Mark is on his own continual quest of self-improvement; attending industry conferences, engaging in business seminars, and staying in touch with the property elite across Australia and internationally.

Away from the business, Mark is a keen cyclist and an energetic member of Metropolitan Golf Club, although he is the first to admit that golf is perhaps not his natural calling! For now, much of Mark's time is devoted to his family...and to finding new and exciting ways to lead the Buxton Real Estate Group, and their clients, to continued success
