Nim is well-known throughout the Canberra community having been a public servant for over 20 years, owning several restaurants, running Thai cooking classes and is a qualified oncology and remedial massage therapist.
In her spare time Nim is heavily involved with the Canberra community being a broadcaster on local community radio, and volunteering at the National Multicultural Festival for over 20 years. During the 2019 ACT Multicultural Awards Nim was recognised by the ACT Government for her continual contribution and services to the ACT community.
