Community Involvement

Outside of work, I’ve been a member of the Rural Fire Service for over 30 years, in both Blue Mountains & local brigades, currently Captain of the Alstonville Rural Fire Brigade. 

Past organiser for some years of the local Children’s Christmas Appeal Motorcycle Toy Run, supporter and sponsor of Lifeline and other local charities and the Wollongbar Alstonville Rugby Club.

Board Member of CASPA, formerly known as North Coast Childrens’ Home, a local private organisation dedicated to the role of foster care, residential care and family support for children and adolescents, which is a satisfying learning experience in a challenging arena.”
