Hi I’m Peter Haworth & I have been a Real Estate Consultant for over 18 years & have recently gone through a transition from Towns Shearing to “Elders Towns Shearing Real Estate”.  

Working with Elders (a great friendly company) has made my job so much easier with the backing & connections of over 400 Elders real estate branches Australia wide.

I have lived in Tasmania for over 42 years after being transferred with Kmart from Melbourne to Tasmania as part of the new store opening management team.

After the successful opening of the Launceston Kmart in 1976 I was told by Kmart that I was going back to the mainland to open more stores, so my wife & I decided we would stay here in Launceston. 

 I brought a wholesale delivery trucking business, which I worked successfully for many years in & around Launceston & surrounding areas.

I have always been overwhelmed by the beauty of Launceston, its surrounding suburbs and nearby country towns, and I now proudly call Launceston my home.

18 years ago I began my career in real estate as a real estate consultant, after being approached by a successful business owner and a dear friend, to work in his business, a career I have enjoyed every minute of and intend on enjoying for many more years to come.

Over my real estate career I have negotiated everything from $100,000 to million dollar property sales which have included, residential homes, units, town houses, villas, subdivisions, lifestyle properties, farms and also commercial!

My commercial sales include; B&B’s, car wash business, surgery’s, coffee shops, shop fronts and retail stores.

I pride myself on working with my vendors, as they are the decision makers and I am their agent, Bringing the best deals to the table, providing options as well as ample time for my vendors to make the right decisions, I also pride myself in resurrecting contracts that have fallen through because of a contract condition issue, maybe a building inspection issue, or a problem obtaining finance. 

I am able to suggest a different bank or broker who could assist, or suggest a solution to some other small detail, many of these contracts I have been able to reinstate leading to a settlement, much to the delight of my clients.

I do believe that authentic service is the main factor that leads to success in real estate. 

Buyers and Vendors need to be able to contact their Real estate agent when they need them and I commit to being contactable 24/7 for my clients.

I have put together many contracts day and night, weekends including Sundays and public holidays. This is my service and commitment, as I work for you!
