Remove one (1) Eucalyptus robusta, Swamp Mahogany, from the backyard at the rear boundary and remove one (1) Persea americana, Avocado, from the centre of the backyard. Swamp Mahogany: At the time of inspection this tree was in fair health and structure - it had a sparse, woody upper canopy that was mostly comprised of epicormic shoots resulting from topping. There was approximately 40% live foliage and there were signs of salt burn on the remaining leaves. This tree will unlikely be restored to health, its removal is recommended before it loses further branches due to the weak epicormic attachments. Avocado: This tree has succumbed to poor health resulting from possum damage and nails driven into the tree to prevent possum access. This tree has poor structure, it has co-dominant stems emanating from near ground level, it is unlikely to be restored to full health, removal is recommended.
