Remove six (6) Norfolk Island Hibiscus from front of building and replace with six (6) medium-sized local native trees from Council’s Development Control Plan 2022, Annexure B3-2 Tree Canopy Replacement Planting List, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to similar dimensions at maturity, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. The trees are in good health and condition, however they pose an unacceptable level of health risk due to their proximity to the livable spaces occupied by the residents. The trees’ seedpods contain fiberglass-like splinters which can cause severe skin irritation and allergic reaction, while airborne or as fallen debris. The residents have been adversely affected by these trees and have provided medical certificates supporting their conditions.
