The amendment is required due to a cost prohibitive design being submitted for the previous application. The design has been rationalised based on cost requirements and the original intent. Changes to the design include: 1. Retaining the existing two front rooms of the house. 2. Shifting the courtyard further to the rear of the site, reflecting more closely its existing location. 3. Removal of the trafficable roof terrace. 4. Removal of the boundary wall on the east of the property to better reflect existing conditions. It is now limited to the garage, as per existing conditions. 5. Slight extension to the boundary wall on the west of the property. We have strived to maintain the materiality of the approved permit. The proposed updates to the front of the house remain as per the approved permit.
