About Rae Smith - Real Estate Agent

Rae began her real estate career back in 2006 after a decade of working in hospitality management and corporate events. While employed by the international real estate company RE/MAX, Rae was recognised as the top sales agent for Victoria and Tasmania for her strong negotiation skills and solid sales record.

Integrity, transparency, open communication and her ‘cup half full’ approach are just some of the key factors for Rae’s professional success, and she deeply values building long lasting relationships with her clients. Rae greatly appreciates working alongside the brilliant team at Flanagan Residential whose motto is ‘the Agency you would recommend to a friend’.

Born in Hobart, Rae spent her early childhood years in Smithton before her family relocated to Launceston. She has travelled extensively, working overseas and interstate in both the hospitality and real estate industries. In late 2016 Rae returned home to Tasmania with her two young children to be closer to her immediate family (aka her ‘village’) and she hasn’t looked back.

One of Rae’s great loves is theatre performing and she is a professional singer. After securing the lead role in the Encore Theatre Company production of ‘Blood Brothers’, Rae was honoured to be the recipient of a Tasmanian Theatre Council Award - Best Female Lead in Community Musical Theatre.
