This agency was first started by John and Karolyn Buckley, working alone out of their Queanbeyan office. The business now employs a team of agents and support staff specifically recruited for their experience, business acumen and creativity. Today, the agency is one of most respected and successful real estate businesses in the Queanbeyan and Canberra district.

Real Estate is a natural fit for the Buckley family. John was first introduced to a career in real estate by his mum, Leonie, some 23 years’ ago. He quickly caught the bug, and now has a firm passion for the industry.

After first having a successful career in one of Canberra’s other leading agencies, John convinced Karolyn that they were at a stage where they could branch out on their own. In 1999, the Buckley’s opened their first branch, and after careful consideration, Queanbeyan was chosen as the site for their new agency.

Over the years, thousands of their satisfied buyers and sellers have often returned to RE/MAX Capital for further business. To date, the family business has gone from strength to strength and now is the agency of choice for all property matters.
