Born and bred in Gawler, Ross Whiston is one of those established locals who’s well known across a variety of local groups, from old Trinity school friends to Willaston footballers plus the hotel and restaurant community.
The last of his immediate family to reside in the area, after his parents headed to Queensland and older twin brothers to Victoria, Ross continues to love living and working in the northern suburbs, an area he feels is central to both the Barossa and the City. He also enjoys the fact that there is always something happening in Gawler and surrounding areas.
Known by mates as a workaholic, Ross is proud that he’s recently reached 100 real estate property sales for a year-long span and with the assistance of Bailey Truscott (Team Whiston) he’s striving for 150 as his next annual milestone.
Being an excellent communicator, able to establish strong, productive relationships, Ross is committed to going above and beyond for his clients to ensure their needs are met. He provides clients with a tailored service based on their respective circumstances to ensure the utmost potential for all their real estate needs.
The award-winning agent, who is also known for his calm and friendly demeanour, also enjoys being an Auctioneer, and is keen to embrace all opportunities to wield the gavel – both with his listings and for others in the agency.
An entrepreneur by nature, Ross once ran a pub in Gawler, and he also owned a local takeaway venture while still in his 20s.
Also known for his days as a professional footballer, Ross now gives back to the community by acting as a runner for the Willaston under 13s team during footy season, swapping back into business attire for Open Houses.
If you’re (understandably) exhausted just reading about his busy schedule, rest assured Ross does have some downtime, watching NBA basketball on the TV or hiking with mates. And on Sunday mornings he can sometimes be spotted enjoying a lazy brekkie at Tanunda’s, Four Seasons of Nosh to help recharge the batteries.
Having won a swag of awards over the past bustling four years, Ross hopes one day to be at the helm of his own real estate agency.
