Affordable Housing:
The Affordable Housing scheme provides Australians on low to moderate incomes with an opportunity to rent homes at a rate that is below market value rent. Affordable Housing homes are not social housing - they are affordable private rental homes. Eligibility is strictly income dependent.

Eligibility:
You may be eligible if you can prove that over the past 12 months you have received an income less than $70,100 to $189,200, depending on your household size, and the weekly cost of rent does not exceed more than 30% of your weekly household income.

Eligibility
Affordable Housing has strict Eligibility Criteria outlined below;
• If you are a single adult or Couple earning wages that meet the below income limits.
• Please do not apply if you receive Centrelink income only.
• Please apply only if you are an Australian citizen.
• Please fill in the application form on the Argyle Housing website and be income eligible.
• Return the form via email or in person with ALL supporting documents as outlined on our website.

Eligibility is strictly income dependent. You may be eligible if you can prove that your annual household income was less than the limits below over the past 12 months. The weekly cost of rent does not exceed more than 30% of your weekly household income.

The units to rent at Common Ground Canberra are available via the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS).
