Formerly known as John L. Hill & Co, the business was started by John and Virginia Hill in 1977 – they were joined soon afterwards by Gail Marshall, who continues with the business to this day. In 2014, ownership changed hands to Sam and his wife Nicola, the next generation to own this family business. Sam has worked in the business since 1992 and Nicola joined in 2010. John Hill remains actively involved as a consultant and is often in the office.
