Ensure you look after your mental health during COVID-19 restrictions

Miji Michael Aug 2, 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly changed the way we live. Many are feeling the impacts of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as NSW enters its sixth week in lockdown. It has affected each of us differently.

All the physical distancing and isolation can make us feel anxious, stressed and worried, so it's important that you take the time to look after your mental health. And don't forget to look out for those around you as we tackle these challenges together.  It is likely that our lives will be different for a while.

Not being able to see our friends and family during this lockdown has also added to the anxiety and made it harder to keep on top of how we are feeling.

It is important that you remain aware of how you are feeling, and what you can do to look after your mental wellbeing during this challenging time.

There is help available.

Call a trained counsellor anytime, 24/7 if you're struggling to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. They have information and advice on how to cope with coronavirus, isolation and connection, workplace and financial hardship, and how to support the mental health of others.
