Brisbane to host 2032 Olympics!

The Olympics will come back to Australia in 2032, 32 years after the 2000 Sydney Olympics. This is Australia’s third opportunity to host the world’s greatest sporting event which should give home buyers and investors some strong property gains.
According to CoreLogic research, if the Sydney 2000 Olympics are any indication, then Brisbane could be tracking a similarly strong performance.
CoreLogic figures show that during the period from September 1993 when the Olympics was announced until the Olympics in September 2000, the value of Sydney properties jumped 60%. This is almost twice the growth recorded across the combined capital cities, which grew by 34.6%.
