A MESSAGE FROM THE SELLERS…

β€œ Our eldest son (now 39) was 5 months old when we first saw this property back in January1988, as a partially cleared bush block with much heavy scrub regrowth and zero development.
The initial "stand-out impression", along with the views, was the properties potential, especially with regard to water harvesting and storage at hills top to provide reliable, very good water supply pressure by simply utilising (free of charge) gravity.
(There is now, storage for both rain and bore water at the highest point on property, and all rainwater tank overflows are plumbed to a main collector tank for ease and simplicity for pumping to top storage tanks.)
Consequently, we "fell in love with the place", purchased and began planning and developing.
Our kids tell us now, that it was "the best" place to spend childhood and grow up in.
We enjoyed the tranquillity, views, growing, picking and using/consuming and preserving our organically home-grown seasonal fruits and vegies from the orchard and gardens, along with the multitude of birdlife utilising the flowering shade and fruit trees, sprinklers and birdbaths.
Also, when the kids were little, we enjoyed having a milking cow for fresh home-made dairy products and chooks for fresh eggs.
The naturally perpetual, abundant supply of firewood on the property is still enjoyed, during winter, free of charge, as we chose to retain large areas of natural bush land and trees to provide for this.
Adding to the enjoyment, was the fun, challenges and satisfaction of planning and developing block, and growing and running our business from here. (Agricultural dam cleaning/restoration/water conservation and associated machinery and equipment), hence shed size - workshop area and machine shop area and equipment.
Now in my 70s and retired... kids all grown and have their own homes, it's time to downsize.
Although sad to leave in some ways...so many wonderful memories, but looking forward to the next chapter of life as "grey oldies", pursuing another lifelong passion on our smaller block near the ocean β€œ.
